Mission
To contribute to the social, economic, cultural and environmental sustainable development of communities in Southern Africa by means of community-based/participatory development that seeks to empower the individual and community socially and economically in such a way that they make a positive difference to the development of Southern Africa.

The organisation’s main objectives are to:
- To promote social, economic, cultural and environmental sustainable development. Fight poverty.
- To promote community-based/participatory development.
- To encourage and work for international cooperation (especially with Italy) to support the development processes.
- To strengthen the capacity of local Non Governmental Organizations.
The organisation’s secondary objectives will be to:
- To promote general Italian-Southern Africa cooperation.
- To work to promote/create awareness about development issues.
Vision
ISADO believes that every individual if properly equipped with intellectual and material resources can have a positive role in the development of society as a whole.
